6 Sigma Technology Group is now Management Science & Innovation (MSI)

Effective immediately, 6 Sigma Technology Group has changed its official legal name to Management Science and Innovation.

We will still continue to do business as 6 Sigma Technology Group as Management Science and Technology DBA 6 Sigma Technology Group for our customers that have become accustomed to this brand.

The adoption of our new name represents our company's move toward business, methods, and practices beyond that of Lean Six Sigma. Our roots are in Lean Six Sigma and it still a primary focus for our firm. However, the time has come to move beyond a brand name that at times limits our ability to leverage our many other competencies in strategy, logistics, and general management.

The name Management Science and Innovation is descriptive of what our firm has evolved into. We are truly experts in numerous management sciences and the development of innovative new methods as well as the use of management sciences within innovative environments.

Our customers will see no change in our suite of services or the manner in which they are delivered. We are proud of the reputation built under the 6STG Brand and will continue this legacy under the MSI Brand.

6 Sigma Technology Group (6STG) has was recently awarded full Lean Six Sigma Services Contract supporting the U.S. Army Reserve Central Command in its Business Transformation endeavors. 6STG currently provides a full suite of Lean Six Sigma and management consulting services to various commercial and Government clients. These services include mentoring, project support, core value stream architecture and deployment, program strategy, Lean Six Sigma training, project support, and methodology development. 6STG has brought innovative approaches such as our comprehensive mentoring process, the demand capacity deployment model, and a comprehensive value stream process management methodology that are all driving break through change. These innovative and proven techniques for business transformation are why 6STG was selected by USARC and will drive similar improvement for the US Army Reserves.

Chantilly, VA, October 27, 2006 – 6 Sigma Technology Group (6STG), http://www.6sigmatech.com has been awarded the full contract amount for option year one of Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Services Contract.

6 Sigma Technology Group (6STG) has served the USMC for nearly three years and was recently awarded full funding for the first of four option years for Master Black Belt services. 6STG provides a full suite of Lean Six Sigma services to HQMC and various commands around the Marine Corps. These services include mentoring, project support, core value stream architecture and deployment, program strategy, training, and methodology development. 6STG has brought innovative approaches such as our comprehensive mentoring process, the demand capacity deployment model, and a comprehensive value stream process management methodology that are all driving break through change within the Corps.
